About

Jeremy Thompson has spent his life serving others.

A retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class, Jeremy served more than 22 years in military intelligence and special operations support, including assignments alongside the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne). During his career, he supported military recruitment and critical national security missions during a time of war and global instability while completing advanced military and intelligence training programs involving the Department of Defense and interagency partners. In 2014, Jeremy was awarded the Soldier’s Medal for Heroism and Valor, one of the Army’s highest honors outside of combat.

But Jeremy’s commitment to service did not begin or end with the military. Since the age of 18, Jeremy has served his community as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, and reserve deputy sheriff. Whether responding to emergencies at home or supporting missions overseas, Jeremy has always believed leadership means showing up when people need help most.

Continuing the Mission

Today, Jeremy serves as Executive Director of the Special Operations Association of America, where he advocates for veterans, military readiness, and national security. Alongside his wife Lindsay, he also owns The Revolutionary Tavern in downtown Fayetteville, Tennessee.

The Revolutionary Tavern is a patriotic, American Revolution-themed restaurant and gathering place inspired by the spirit of liberty, service, and the founding principles that shaped the nation.

A Vision for Tennessee’s Future

Now, Jeremy is running as a Republican for the United States House of Representatives in Tennessee’s newly drawn 9th Congressional District because he believes our best days are still ahead of us. His campaign is focused on making life more affordable, holding Washington accountable, and supporting America’s military, veterans, and first responders.

Jeremy and Lindsay are raising their two children with the values of faith, service, personal responsibility, and love of country.
